Fineiral and Danieli Team
In February 2016 the Final Acceptance Certificate for Danieli Breda’s T- Win press installed at the Aluminia plant located in the Pays de la Loire region of France was signed with the owners of the company Thierry and Regine Corre.
Aluminia, which specialises in extrusion, is close to the Reinal plant specialising in the powder coating of aluminium bars; another sister company belonging to the same Corre Group – Algis - houses a new logistics platform.
The New T-Win press patented by DB demonstrates that the double container concept not only offers advantages in terms of dead cycle time, but also presents considerable savings in terms of energy, including extended container life since subject to less thermal stress.
The start of production clearly marks a particularly important event for DB.
With this new press type, the oil needed for each cycle is slashed, press performance is improved by at least 30% and energy consumption is significantly reduced.
The new T-Win press, equipped to operate with billet dimensions of 8” x 1200 mm, has an installed power of only 410kW and a dead cycle time of 10 seconds.
Design of the press also offers the following advantages when compared to a standard front loading press with the same force range:
Continuous support and collaboration with Aluminia, alongside solid technical commitment and innovation, leads to another Customer convinced by the T-Win design. These important steps led to installation and commissioning of the press in and extremely strict time frame and consequent Final Acceptance Certificate. Another important stepping-stone for Danieli Breda technology.
Brilliant results recorded during the start-up of the plant will be officially presented in the USA at ET ’16 The Eleventh International Aluminum Extrusion Technology Seminar & Exposition.
