Iran Ups Exports From Western Province

Iran considerably increased its exports of non-oil commodities from the Western province of Kermanshah.

Kermanshah province experienced an increase of 47 percent during the first 9 months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2018-December 22, 2018), statistics released by Iran's Customs Administration said.

It noted that $2.1 billion worth of goods weighing 4.25 million tons had been exported from Kermanshah province during the mentioned period.

The Customs Administration said that the figure showed 47 percent growth in value and 33 percent rise in weight.

Household appliances, plastic materials, potato, tomato, tiles, plastic bag, air cooler and polyethylene granules were among products which have been exported from Kermanshah.

Kermanshah, the capital of Kermanshah Province, is located 525 km from Tehran in the Western part of Iran.
