French shipyard OCEA launched OPV 270, its largest vessel to date, solely designed and built by them, on July 17 2019 at its shipyard in Les Sables d’Olonne. The 84 meters long OPV 270 was selected by the Coast Guard of the Philippine s and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) during an international competition. She is also the largest aluminium OPV built in the world. The vessel will be called "Gabriela Silang"
