President message

I am pleased to announce the holding of the 34th National and the 2nd International Geosciences Congress. This is a great privilege for the Geological Survey of Iran to host this important event on Earth Sciences which is focused on the different fields of the earth sciences especially "Aerosol". Herby I invite all Earth Scientists and Young Geologist community all over the world to participate in this exciting geological event.

The symposium meeting will be held in Geological Survey of Iran, Tehran, Iran 22-24 February 2016. We sincerely hope that you will be able to join us for the 34th National and the 2nd International Geosciences Congress, and we look forward to welcoming you in Tehran next February, 2016.

It is an honor that "The 34th National and the 2nd International Geosciences Congress" is going to be held in Tehran, Iran 22 to 24 February, 2016. It provides a forum colleagues different countries can present their work and discuss their ideas covering various aspects of the geosciences. Official Language & Scientific Program

The official languages of the symposium are English and Persian. The scientific session venue will be provided with computers and LCD projector. 

 

Abstract and Manuscript Submission

Participants who wish to give oral and/or poster presentation must submit extended abstracts of their presentation. Figures (jpg, tiff, cdr) and pictures should be in the quality of ready to print. The deadline for paper submission is 31 December, 2015.  All the accepted papers will be published in the symposium proceedings. You may also find paper format at the end of this circular as appendix II. It is also available on http://34nigc.conference.gsi.ir/en.

Fees

All congress attendants are required to register for the congress in the website. Registration form is also available at the end of the circular as appendix I. Congress fees is 100 USD and it include admission to the scientific session, congress package, refreshments, accommodation, food and transportation during congress.

 

Accommodation in Tehran

Accommodation has been booked in the hotel of Science & Research University. It’s worth mentioning that the hotel is located in the height of 2000m.

 

Visa

An official invitation letter for applying entry visa to Iran will be sent by the Organizing Committee to registrant on request. Participants who need entry visa to Iran, please contact congress organizing secretaries as soon as possible.

 

Registration

The filled-in registration form (the last page of this circular or separately attached MS Word file) is kindly requested to be returned to the Organizing Secretaries via e-mail before 1 February 2016.

 

Travel Insurance

The congress organizers can’t hold responsible for any accident or injury that may happen to the participants during the symposium and other activities. Therefore, participants are recommended to buy personal travel insurance before leaving home.
