HERTWICH installs automated batch homogenizing plants for aluminum rolling slabs at AMAG

As part of its rolling mill extension, AMAG Austria Metall AG, headquartered in Braunau-Ranshofen, Austria, is also increasing its homogenizing capacity. In 2014 and 2016, three new Hertwich batch homogenizing furnaces have been commissioned. Two more furnaces have already been ordered and will be commissioned at the end of 2016 and early in 2017.

AMAG places an order with HERTWICH to supply a single chamber melting and casting furnace

Austrian company AMAG has placed an order with Hertwich Engineering to supply a melting/casting furnace with a capacity of 55,000 tons of aluminum per year including a charging machine. Commissioning of the new furnace is scheduled for mid 2017.
