Since the annual domestic demand for this steel product is 100,000 tons, the remaining half can be shipped overseas. The sheets have a width of 800 to 1,550 millimeters and a thickness of 2 to 10 millimeters, and are offered in the three classes of ST44-2, ST37-2 and ST52-2. Checkered steel sheets are used in the making of industrial stairways, bridges, autos, wagons, ships and ports.
